I am so excited to introduce you to my next guest, which is Chris Turcotte, Director of Sales from NTS Direct. One of the other relationships that you have here, Chris is you partner with GreenStar.
Chris: That’s correct. That’s correct.
Donna: Yeah, with Stephanie and Samantha and Pete and the team. So, tell me about that relationship and how it got started.
How did you get started with GreenStar Marketing?
Chris: Absolutely. So NTS Direct has recognized historical growth in the past 24 months. And, you know, we’re rushing around and we’re trying to figure out our next move. And we’ve got all these ideas and campaigns that we want to do, but let’s be, you know, real, like you want to stick to what you’re good at, right. And we have an amazing marketing team. We do. But we were looking for something that was tailored more to the future of our goals and what we’re trying to accomplish.
And our marketing team is really focused on the now. Right? So that said, we knew that we had to reach out to a third party and get some help in that area. You know, when we’d be wanting to go with somebody that knew the telecom industry. That was– has been in it for a long time and could pick the ball up and carry it without us having to manage the whole thing anyways. Right?
So fortunately, you know, our relationship with Dave George and the NetSapiens community, they were able to recommend a fantastic marketing company: GreenStar Marketing. At which point we had a call, and call went well and we contracted them literally the next day. So–
Donna: Gotta love that!
What impact is NTS Direct seeing since partnering with GreenStar?
Chris: You know, and since then, you know, we’ve seen over 400% increase in our traffic to our website.
Donna: That’s awesome.
Chris: And we’re just doing– we’re all doing a great job, but they’re doing a phenomenal job for us. And we look forward to working with them in the future. In fact, I think we’re gonna be renegotiating a longer contract herethis week. So they’re tremendous.
What was the ramp-up like for NTS Direct?
Donna: One of the things that their secret sauce they bring to the table, is they focus in this vertical. They know your world. So your ramp-up time was probably minimal.
Chris: It was. It was indeed. You know, the thing is– I paneled with Stephanie yesterday and she was dead on with all her answers. Marketing is such an in– You know, it’s so important in your growth or your growth goals. You need to have your sales and your marketing teams aligned. So that you can accomplish your goals and if you don’t have that piece it makes things very difficult. And that’s why a lot of companies find themselves flat. They’re not reaching the right customers. Right?
So GreenStar knowing the industry, understanding our goals, they’re very able to put this together and make it happen for us. So we’re very excited about that.
Donna: Well, you know, I was in that meeting as well. So I heard you guys, and you had some pretty good contributions yourself–
Chris: Thank you, I appreciate that.
Donna: Yeah, you understand the medium well.
